Mysore Palace is all lit up for the dushera season . Mysore seems to be like the place to be during dushera . The tourism authorities have introduced special cards for people to have special access to all the important places in mysore . Helps to skip the crowd .

We were at a restaurant near the sub-urban bus stand in Mysore . This is what we got for our order .

This is the Strangest Butter Masala Dosai I have ever seen . They actually packed a Peice of Butter and served it the Dosai . I had ordered Mallige idle and was half expecting it to be served with Jasmines ;)
